At the San Francisco gallery space, Public Works, Ezra Croft has produced a show dedicated solely to Bill Murray. Titled ‘The Murray Affair,’ the exhibition includes works from all mediums that reference the actor or show his likeness.
Croft explains that there was one Bill Murray quote that summed up why he was interested in organizing this exhibition. When Bill Murray was asked what it’s like being so awesome, his response was: “Well, nothing prepared me for being this awesome. It’s kind of a shock. It’s kind of a shock to wake up every morning and be bathed in this purple light.” Croft responded to that sentiment by saying, “We should aspire to live like Bill: Be awesome, have a light heart, enjoy the little things, and to always strive for excellence.”
