Isabel Chiara is a freelance illustrator and designer based in Spain. Chiara’s background in plastic arts led to her experimentation with collage, which became her favorite method of artistic expression. What sets her works apart from other collage artists is the way she mixes old and new media, including found vintage photos, video clips and GIF loop techniques.
Her animated GIF collages present a distinct style where juxtaposition of vintage imagery with modern pop culture results in a witty dose of anachronistic surrealism in motion.
