Andrew Marttila, a self-described “crazy cat man” has created a photo series that beautifully captures the eyes of cats. The shots are macro and show the details of the eyes, from the color to the hair surrounding it.
Marttila is a pet photographer who overcame his allergies to animals at 22 by building up an immunity through exposure to the pets. While he’s only been a pet photographer for several years, he’s already done shoots with celebrity cats like Lil Bub and Grumpy Cat. He also takes frequent photos of his own cat, Haroun, which he displays on his Instagram feed.
