Yet, many of the most amazing ’90s candy and snacks you won’t find on shelves anymore. Food fads come and go, and chances are that you’ve forgotten about the long-gone goodies you bought decades ago. Your favorite ’90s food may have disappeared due to shifting consumer preferences and changing nutritional guidelines. Because apparently, today’s kids wouldn’t be interested in bubble gum that came in a metal box that looked just like a Band-Aid tin, and who knows what chemicals were in the bright-colored Squeezits, aside from sugar?

With many of you nineties babies turning 30 soon, you’d better get them veggies in your diet, because your gut health is not the same as it was in your teens. However, compared to what the youngsters are filling their bellies with today, we still had it pretty good in our school years. Whether our favorite childhood snacks were relatively healthy is under question; however, undoubtedly, ’90s foods were not as “infested” with GMOs as the foods are now.
