2019 Year in Review: Design Store(y)

It’s really easy to wake up the computer, type in a brand, shop, add to cart, and wait for it to show up on your doorstep, but there’s something about the in-person experience of a brick-and-mortar shop, especially a design-focused one, that we love. You get to touch the products, see how they’re made, and know that your money is supporting a small, independent shop that the owners put their blood, sweat, and tears into. Throughout 2019, we featured some of those shops around the globe in our Design Store(y) column and now we’re revisiting them in case you missed out.
