2023 Academy Award®–Nominated Film Series—The Fabelmans and Post-Screening Conversation with Kristie Macosko Krieger and Rick Carter

FILM at LACMA presents classic and contemporary narrative and documentary films, artists and their influences, emerging auteurs, international showcases, special guest-curated programs, and conversations with artists and special guests. 

LACMA members are invited to join FILM at LACMA for a special screening of The Fabelmans and a post-screening conversation with producer Kristie Macosko Krieger and production designer Rick Carter.

A portrait of 20th-century American childhood, The Fabelmans is a coming-of-age story about a young man’s discovery of a shattering family secret and an exploration of the power of movies to help us see the truth about each other and ourselves.
