San Francisco’s Spoke Art gallery is paying tribute to one of contemporary cinema’s greatest auteurs, Wes Anderson, with the group art exhibit ‘Bad Dads V.’ For the exhibition, a whopping 80+ artists were invited to contribute their own take on his trademark films, including Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Darjeeling Limited, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Moonrise Kingdom, and of course, his latest opus The Grand Budapest Hotel. The result is a stunning collection of eclectic styles and formats (paintings, sculptures limited edition screen prints), though it is quite heavy on Bill Murray, expectedly.
