32-foot geometric sculpture by David Mesguich inspired by artist’s daughter

David Mesguich has been going around Belgium, France and Poland, placing large scale geometric figures.

His 2015 series, STATELESS, involved two geometric, carved sculptures in Paris depicting refugees. He then went on to the urban art festival, Mister Freeze, in Toulouse where he showed off SANTA EUROPA, a personification of Europe, hinting at its views on relocating people within the borders. His latest work, LUCIE was built in Poznan, Poland and is a 32-foot sculpture depicting his four-year-old daughter aimed at inspiring children and adults. Check out some of his sculptures below and find more of his works on his Behance and Facebook.
