40 years of R-rated film scenes illustrated as childish cartoons

Josh Cooley has been a storyboarder at Pixar for more than ten years. You may have seen his work in Cars (2006), Ratatouille (2007) and Up (2009). In his free time, Cooley draws incredible cartoons of famous film scenes. However, instead of focusing on children’s films, Cooley illustrates the mature content of R rated movies from the last forty years.

From “Psycho” to “No Country for Old Men,” Cooley has illustrated single panels and turned them into a sarcastic “children’s book,” called, ‘Movies R Fun,’ which was released on March 1st. But as the pictures below show, the book isn’t exactly appropriate for children…
