“Cura” (Connected Units for Respiratory Ailments) in Italian means “care” or “cure”. Conceived by the Carlo Ratti Associati design and innovation studio in Turin, it brings together designers, engineers, doctors and military experts for the construction of new intensive care units.The project is open-source and involves the creation of bio-containment rooms from commercial containers. Each unit works independently and can be transported anywhere in the world.

Easy Covid19 – by Isinnova

Last summer there was a specific item particularly present on all Italian beaches: the snorkeling mask by Decathlon. Unfortunately, the availability of emergency respiratory masks is not as widespread now.In collaboration with Decathlon, the Isinnova company and Doctor Favero (from Gardone Valtrompia Hospital, Brescia) developed the idea of ​​a new filter to be applied on the breathing tube of the snorkeling mask. The device, after the test that demonstrated its correct function against the virus, has already been patented and is freely available. Everyone can have it for free by recreating it with any 3D printer.

Some students from Miami Ad School in Hamburg (Germany) have posted billboards with spoilers from Netflix shows to deter people from leaving their houses.The fake campaign feature spoilers for a selection of the streaming services most popular series.“The best way to stop the spread of Covid-19 is to #staythefuckhome, but some people still think it’s okay to go out and chill, spoiling it for us all,” the spec ad says “so we took an extreme measure: we spoil their favorite Netflix shows.”
