Georg Jensen has just released a new collaborative collection with Snøhetta, called Terra, a series of indoor and outdoor pots and plant accessories constructed from steel and terracotta that at once feel fresh yet familiar.

9. The Motive Collection Blurs the Line Between Indoor + Outdoor Lighting
In collaboration with designer Justin Champaign, Landscape Forms has released a unique and innovative collection of lighting – Motive. This series really blurs the line between indoor and outdoor lighting, expanding the possibilities for its use in various decorative settings, such as building entrances and pathways.

8. Plant Seads Turns Chain Link Fence Into Vertical Gardens
Last year Bryan Meador became really frustrated about the government’s and multinational companies’ response to climate change, there just wasn’t enough urgency around the issue. His answer lies in the founding of Plant Seads and is inspired by the way nature manages to create openings for life by adapting to its surroundings. Their first product offering is a planter that fits onto chain link fence and is made from recycled plastic milk jugs. The hope is that these SeadPods will empower people to grow vertical gardens in places that were previously inaccessible.

7. Loll Designs Has Two New Outdoor Collections That Feature Recycled Plastic
Widely known for their recycled plastic Adirondack chairs, Loll Designs launched two new spring outdoor collections crafted from recycled milk jugs: Sunnyside and Platform One. The modern backyard designs make a statement with a variety of cushioned seating options inviting you to relax and enjoy.

6. Dream of the Italian Outdoor Lifestyle with the Makemake Collection
The great outdoors always makes for a nice escape, and no more so than in this moment. The Makemake collection, designed by studioPang for Terraforma, includes a modular sofa, bench, tables, dining chairs, lounge chairs, stools and sun lounger with smooth lines and style for days.

5. The Calamus Duo Merges Graphic Design + Furniture Design
Steve Wolf and Brandon Kershner – aka Karni Studio – worked together to create a duo of products that reached for inspiration and elements from two separate worlds. Calamus was inspired by Bauhaus era graphic art, architecture and furniture design. It’s difficult to look at these pieces without smiling, because their forms and shapes are nothing short of happy when used together.

4. Extend Your Livable Space with Unopiù’s Urban Balcony
Urban Balcony is a wall structure made of iroku wood that’s available with several accessories that allow you to take full advantage of what little outdoor space you may have. Designed by Meneghello Paolelli Associati for Unopiù, Urban Balcony is a modular, flexible system that will allow you to create a space for entertaining, relaxing or even working.

3. The Caicos Outdoor Furniture Collection Is Bold + Sustainable
Row upon row of parallel slats create a bold linear element that runs consistently throughout the Caicos outdoor collection. Designed by Ramón Esteve for RH, the pieces within Caicos find their inspiration in the 1950s international style. Crafted from sustainably harvested teak wood, each modular seat and table creates strength out of simplicity to masterfully define any outdoor space.

Full of character and elegance, the Lifescape Collection by Minotti promotes an outdoor lifestyle that’s full of comfort, quality, and aesthetics. 1. Bee Hive Allows You to Save the Bees From Your Own Backyard
If you’re a fan of saving the bees or just looking to add a new hobby to your repertoire, have a look at this collaboration between Loll Designs and Lake Superior Honey Co. Their take on a classic beehive, which is appropriately named Bee Hive, adds a dose of thoughtful modernism with a cause to your backyard.
