Anonymous people artist has never met inspires clever installation

Zadok Ben-David used a plethora of anonymous people for his ambitious new installation.

“People I Saw But Never Met,” is the title and it’s comprised of over 3,000 chemically-etched mini figures of various sizes. The figures are based on real people extracted from photographs taken by the artist while traveling across Europe, the US, Central Asia, Australia, and even Antartica.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.

So the diversity is strong in this one. “Ben-David’s sculptural milieu comes at a critical point in our current socio-political climate. Where heated debates about exclusion and borders versus inclusivity and multiplicity are part of our daily experience,” says Shoshana Wayne Gallery, where Ben-David’s installation is currently set up.
