Branch Nebula aims to engage its audiences through performance art, continually pushing the boundaries of political and social awareness. The founders, Lee Wilson and Mirabelle Wouters, have used the project as a platform for their communal creativity since they began in 1999. Through modern dance and performance in the public sphere, they reach out to audiences who would not ordinarily go to theaters (mostly because of socio-economic reasons).
