A 96m2 Apartment in Milan Designed to Feel Like an Imaginary Garden

Studio Paradisiartificiali designed the Nuevo Mundo apartment with the intention for it to feel like an imaginary garden. Centered around a small, sage-colored volume, the 96m2 apartment in Milan, Italy, includes an eclectic mix of modern furnishings interspersed with green plants. The results are a whimsical retreat that’s an extension of the apartment’s inhabitants.

The living room features a vintage sofa and a nature-inspired tapestry by India Mahdavi, along with the bold Vertigo Pendant by Constance Guisset for Petite Friture.

Dioscuri wall lamps from Artemide hang above both doors with white tiles from Mutina at the top add an unexpected element to the apartment’s central volume.

The designer worked with Mexican artist Guillermo Flores | ORBEH on the tropical artwork on tiles behind the kitchen table.
