The gruesome ads depict various wildlife — snakes, birds, gorillas, and others — with their heads removed, and dripping blood. It’s a striking visualization that calls attention to the impact that deforestation and other habitat destruction has on the inhabitants of those places.

Ganesh Prasad is the creative director behind the ads for Sanctuary and Kaushik Katty Roy is the copywriter on the shocking series. They’re a good reminder that we need to think about how our actions affect not just the physical environment, but also those that inhabit it.
