This bridge in Japan looks like it was made for a thrill seeking roller-coaster enthusiast, but it is a real thing, used everyday by the people traveling to Matsue or Sakaiminato. The Eshima Ohashi bridge, spanning the banks of Lake Nakaumi is a whopping 44m-tall and is terrifying to approach from the street.
If you do cross the bridge you have gained access to a stunning panoramic view of the area. Although the images of the bridge look impossible, it is a bit of a trick, the actual incline only reaches 6.1%.
