A Bauhaus-inspired poster series created by W. Flemming as entry to the Adobe Hidden Treasures contest.
The posters celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus movement. Furthermore, the series was W. Flemming‘s contribution to the Adobe Hidden Treasures contest. His main source of inspiration was a book “Concerning the Spiritual in Art” written by Wassily Kandinsky in 1910 and first published in December 1911, before he joined Bauhaus in Dessau. The book has been a great source of inspiration for artists and designers for over a century. Flemming’s poster designs are based on the recently recreated original Bauhaus typefaces Joschmi, Xants and CarlMarx, available now via the Adobe Typekit.
