Abandoned manhole covers in Milan turned into tiny artsy living spaces

Briancoshock has launched a new project titled “Borderlife”, which aims to convert the many abandoned manhole covers on the streets of Milan into miniature rooms. The tiny spaces feature artwork, utensils, and tiled walls too! Despite its flair of humor, Briancoschock is trying to bring attention to a serious problem in Bucharest, where hundreds of the city’s poor live in underground sewer systems.
