Jeroen Peters is a freelance photographer based in Amsterdam specializing in architectural photography, with a strong graphic character. His work is best described as “a mix of minimal and architectural photography, with great attention to structures, pattern, and special lighting.”
Peters calls himself an urbanist as most of his works feature a perspective of the cityscape which often goes unnoticed by a busy passerby. Isn’t that what makes an artist? The ability to see exquisite from the ordinary and the skill to capture it for other people to appreciate. His minimalist approach definitely makes this transfer of recognition easy as it allows beholders to focus on the shapes and patterns of the structures of his subjects.
