As those who suffer from anxiety and depression know, sometimes the best way to cheer yourself up with with a cute, quirky and honest illustration. British illustrator Gemma Correll has created a series of illustrations that show the struggle she goes through herself with anxiety and depression.
“I honestly think that humour can be a saviour at times of distress or, if you just live with a constant level of anxiety and depression like I do. I do think that people should speak more freely about anxiety.” she added. “I know that I would have felt a little better as an anxiety-ridden teenager if I knew that I wasn’t completely alone in my fears.” she said.
