With the total of COVID-19 cases reaching 987,322 and total deaths being 55,415, the US has become the worst-hit country by the pandemic. As the virus ravages the country, many conspiracy theories, false treatments, and misinformation have begun to circle around.

Sadly, some of them come from leaders who are tasked with dealing with the crisis. Recently, President Trump started making headlines for suggesting that injecting disinfectants into a human body might be a valid treatment for COVID-19. This senseless and potentially dangerous claim has become excellent material for SNL’s comedic relief.

To dispel the myths and fact-check the president, SNL brought in Bratt Pitt to portray a key member in the coronavirus task force, Dr. Anthony Fauci.
