Taking place in Chelsea, just around the corner from Printed Matter’s bookstore, the NY Art Book Fair (NYABF) is the leading international event for the distribution of artists’ books. Exhibitors include a broad range of artists, collectives, publishers, institutions, galleries, antiquarian booksellers, and distributors. This year’s fair will feature many of the longstanding exhibitors and programs that have come to define this beloved event, while also offering new ways to discover artists’ books and explore the full breadth of the art publishing community.
Entry to the 2022 NY Art Book Fair is by ticket or advance registration. Some days are ticketed while programs — including The Classroom, off-site exhibitions, and the NYABF Block Party — are free with registration. Advance registration is highly encouraged due to limited capacity in the building and crowd flow. Limited tickets are available at the door each day.

*Preview Hours are reserved (via online registration) for Printed Matter members, students, press, and NYC cultural institution members. We also invite people who identify as disabled and/or immunocompromised to visit the Fair during these hours with fewer people and reduced sensory stimuli.
