Recently, French aviation giant, Airbus, unveiled a concept vehicle that it perceives will redefine transportation as we know it.
Dubbed Pop.Up, the vehicle is best described as “a trailblazing modular ground and air passenger concept vehicle system.” The design was the result of a collaboration between Airbus and Italdesign, a design firm noted for its propensity to come up with futuristic, albeit far-fetched (at the moment), modes of transportation.

The vehicle ” combines the flexibility of a small two seater ground vehicle with the freedom and speed of a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) air vehicle.” Sounds compelling enough! Check out some images of the conceptual aircraft-car hybrid below and head on over here to learn more.
