Amazing works by pioneer paper architects available in book form

The Soviet Union era is often painted as dreadful and grim. This only helped to elevate the talents of imaginative architects like Alexander Brodsky and Ilya Utkivn.

Between 1978 and 1993, Brodsky and Utkivn gave rise to a new genre of architecture called “Paper Architecture”, also known as visionary architecture, because it could only be realized on paper. Their renderings are filled with an excess of buildings, arches, domes and other three-dimensional urban structures.
