‘Insect Project’ is an amazingly detailed alphabet made out of drawings of insects, arachnids, and other creepy crawlies by Romanian artist Paula Duță. By merging these tiny species with letters, Duță created a playful typeface that can be applied to form unique words. Each letter was actually hand-drawn on paper with colored pencils.
This personal project took Duta two years to complete. “It was something I didn’t want to rush so I always left it aside when I had to work on something else,” she said. The amount of research and dedication is evident in the stunning details below.
