ByDesign, producers of the globally recognized collection of design television series, are back with two new series launching on November 12. The show will provide audiences with deep insight into what it takes to imagine, create, and bring to life new and innovative designs in furniture, healthcare, housing and more. The series showcases impactful design and new concepts from the most innovative and established brands in the United States. Each episode also includes featured ‘Spotlights’ showcasing outstanding international design stories.

Season three of America ByDesign: Innovations returns with an all star team of judges and presenters detailing 17 products, concepts, services, schools and more, all of which are competing for the winner’s trophy. Some of the spotlight segments outside of the competition include innovations from Yamaha and Keter as well as a segment profiling Ross Lovegrove. With many of the projects focusing on sustainability, inclusive design and healthcare, the series emphasizes the positive impact design can have on the lives of people around the world and the environment.

This season features a collaboration with Ambiente, the world’s leading consumer goods trade fair by Messe Frankfurt, which will be featured in the first episode and will highlight Ambiente’s mission of sustainability, responsible design and production, craftsmanship, advanced technology and global style. “More and more, audiences want to know how products are created and are genuinely interested in how design can improve their quality of life. Messe Frankfurt and Ambiente are at the forefront of this movement. Along with the Innovations series, the ByDesign team will also premier America by Design: Architecture on the same day. The show provides a national mainstream audience with deep insight into what it takes to imagine, create, and bring to life the new and impossible. The series showcases impactful design and architecture across the United States by some of the most innovative and creative architects around the country.
The series will emphasize the work of American architects as they redefine and reimagine the built environment. The premier season highlights varied commissions, such as historical landmarks, luxury buildings, educational centers, private residences, vacation getaways and more.
America ByDesign: Architecture shares the story behind each project, exploring the challenges and the triumphs of manifesting a great idea or concept, while also showcasing the people at the heart of the design process, the elements that constitute noteworthy architectural projects and the greater impact of architecture on society.
Both shows are scheduled to premiere on November 12th on the CBS News Streaming Network at www.cbsnews.com/live, all CBS News mobile apps, ByDesign’s YouTube channel, and the www.bydesign.global website. They will air on the Linear TV CBS broadcast in February 2023.
