Americans and the Porcelain City Part 4

In honor of the installation Evolution of Chinese Ceramics and Their Global Influence, this March 3, 2013 Sunday at the Met focuses on the influence that the city of Jingdezhen, China has had on contemporary artists. Artists Wayne Higby, Sin-ying Ho, and Steven Lee join curators Denise Patry Leidy and Jane Adlin for a discussion that focuses on the history and creation of porcelain.

The installation Evolution of Chinese Ceramics and Their Global Influence is on view on the Great Hall Balcony, Galleries 200-205, at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
