Chaz Harris and Adam Reynolds are the New Zealand based co-authors of a new LGBT children’s book called Promised Land. Currently on Kickstarter, the book follows a young prince and a young farm boy who fall in love.
With illustrations by Christine Luiten, Harris and Reynolds created the story as they had few LGBT role models when growing up. The Kickstarter campaign states, “The first edition of PROMISED LAND will be a full colour illustrated storybook aimed at 5-10 year olds and up with a target release date of 11 October 2016.”
