Taking 22 of the worlds most popular corporate logos, designer Paula Rúpolo has created a series of animated GIFS that changes the colors schemes in each, resulting in uniquely different images.
“There was no big agenda behind the brand color swap. It was a creative marketing exercise in cognition”, the artist said. “The point of the whole exercise for me, as a graphic designer, was to explore how we associate a certain color scheme to a given company or product. We tend not to compare competitors’ color schemes unless we are actually commissioned to design a logo and need to benchmark some standards.”

The logos paired in each GIF are competitors in the same industry — for example, Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts.
