His lecture, New Evidence on Cultural Exchange between the Roman and Indic Worlds: The Discovery of the Second-Century BCE shipwreck at Godavaya, Sri Lanka, focuses on a recently found shipwreck has revolutionized our understanding of maritime trade history and the circulation of luxury goods in South Asia, particularly between India and Sri Lanka.
