Architecture student manually draws amazing perspectives of iconic structures using only pencil and paper

With today’s advancement in architectural and engineering drafting programs, freehand drawing has seemingly become a thing of the past, if not scarce. One architecture student in Kazan, however, has proved that meticulous freehand sketches still have an undeniable charm.

Adelina Gareeva, who also happens to be a model, posts her detailed hand-drawn sketches of architectural buildings and structures on her Instagram account as her own way of showing her followers the continuous progress she makes. Studying architecture at Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering in Russia has helped her develop her artistic abilities when it comes to drawing even the tiniest of lines and details of architectural monuments.

She also delights in sketching buildings out of pure imagination, which makes her works even more indulging. The fact that she can also make quick work of structures during her travels is truly impressive.

Manual drafting can be painstaking and time-consuming. But Gareeva’s stunning craftsmanship just goes to show that it can also be a refreshing form of art in this digital world.
