Art & Music: Celebrating Cauleen Smith with Radha Botofasina

Cauleen Smith is a Los Angeles-based interdisciplinary artist, and elements of her exhibition Give It or Leave It are informed by the artist’s research into the music, writing, and spirituality of Alice Coltrane (also known by her adopted Sanskrit name Turiyasangitananda)

Join us for a conversation with Cauleen Smith and curator Rita Gonzalez, in addition to a musical performance by Radha Botofasina. Soloist Radha Botofasina is an Afro-Cuban American harpist and vocalist who studied with Coltrane. The concert will feature music by Coltrane along with original works by Botofasina.
