Sheryl Westleigh is a sculptor and jewelry designer who is not new to the crowdfunding world. She previously had a pretty successful funding for her Lady of Innsmouth project. Now, she’s back on Kickstarter with another project: tiny sculptures of creatures.
She will be creating four-inch tall pieces based on fictional characters. The twist is that the backers and supporters get to decide what their sculptures will look like. She’ll sketch rough drafts of concepts, the backers will vote, and the winning entry will be what she’ll work on. This can go a million different ways, but she’s guaranteeing that there WILL be tentacles at some point. The final concept will be sculpted using MonsterClay.
