These comics have only one thing in common, and it’s the surprising twists, turns, and unexpected endings for what seems like just a regular situation. Surprisingly or not, this isn’t the first time we’ve featured these comics on Bored Panda, and the first part was very well received, so if you want to have a look, you may do so.

Max Garcia is a New York-based writer and illustrator. He uses characters we’re all familiar with, like super heroes, mascots and popular characters in tandem with regular people to balance the surreal and the real. The title Sunny Street is funny because the name often goes opposite to what’s actually portrayed. Max Garcia isn’t afraid to make his comics take a dark turn, and they are riddled with twisted endings and unexpected turns of events.

Not many people know this, but there’s a huge difference between a webcomic and a classic comic strip. Of course, there’s the obvious: they’re usually printed on different sorts of mediums, but there’s much more to it than that. First of all, the advent of webcomics made self-publishing much easier, and therefore anyone with an internet connection could publish their comics. Of course, the barrier of entry went down because of this, and the levels of quality vary drastically between each comic series, but without the internet, we wouldn’t have such great authors like War and Peas and many others.
