Artist creates abstract pieces based on web pages

Google, Tumblr, Pinterest… many of us visit these websites daily without much thought. Artist Rafaël Rozendaal recently chose to look beyond the words on these sites, creating a Google Chrome extension called Abstract Browsing.

Abstract Browsing allows the user to view websites minus the content, turning sites into brilliant, geometric abstract pieces of art. He then took screenshots of these images and wove them into tapestries, creating a marriage of new pixels with old stitches.
