Ontario-based artist Miguel Vasquez seeks to distort our feelings about these cartoon characters with some reality twists. He creates realistic renditions of famous cartoon characters that might even disturb you.

He makes them look sinister, twisted, and scary. Not something you would wish for your children to see on Sunday morning.

Wrinkles, uneven skin tones, belly fat—it’s just a few features that make them look like real human beings. Although there’s something about them that makes them look unsettling.
