Artist transforms her 1840s home into a graphic mural masterpiece

Everyone knows that wacky house in town that was painted horrible ugly colors that everyone loves to complain about… this is not one of those houses. This upstate New York residence decorated by Kat O’Sullivan is brightly painted but in a tasteful, modern and playful way.

The American artist purchased the run-down 1840s home and did a total reconstruction concluding with this psychedelic paint job. The black outlines give the house a graphic quality, making it stand out boldly against the natural forest and neighboring lake. It features a cartoony wood door, rainbow paneling and even a similarly decorated bus that hangs out in the driveway.
