Artist’s grungy installations are all about home

Stefan Strumbel has created an exhibit at the Städtische Galerie Offenburg in Germany that showcases a new artist direction from him, away from his classic vibrant prints and modernized clocks.

The exhibit is a series of bronze and aluminum-cast sculptures. All have to do with the idea of “heimat”, which loosely translates to “home.” Some of the sculptures include life-sized beds, islands and fast food, paired with phrases like “Nowhere”, “Love 24 Hrs”, and “WTF is Heimat?”

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.
