Gulya Ju is a type and graphic designer with a strong passion for handmade lettering. The skilled designer has recently published Balzak, a new calligraphic typeface based on real handwriting. Characterized by messy ink and “imperfect” letters, the font is a great choice for all designs that ask for natural, hand-drawn lettering. Balzak comes with both uppercase and lowercase letters as well as numerals and a wide range of punctuation and ligatures. All lowercase letters include elegant ending swashes. In order to activate swashes, you need professional tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign that supports OpenType features.
