Banksy’s street stall in Venice, Italy

Similar to his NYC stunt a couple years back, British artist Banksy hide himself amongst street vendors in Italy for the Venice Bienalle 2019. The elusive artist put together a clean setup that joined together several paintings which were entitled “Venice in Oil”. The entire body of work depicted a large cruise ship navigating within the old city amongst the traditional gondoliers.

It is currently unknown if any one actually purchased any of the individual canvases on the streets but the video doesn’t give any hints toward that direction.
