Rick Eggert‘s glass works are at once elegant and striking while being dynamic enough to give the effect of parts of them flowing with the wind.
The Florida-based sculptor produces glass sculptures derived from natural elements that mimic the motion of fire and water. The static objects are sculpted individually but presented as groups and categorized as “Waves,” “Flames,” and “Dew Drops.” The glass-blown works are solidly colored at the center and grade into white as you travel outward to the edges. Eggert serves as the Creative Director of the Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts in Lake Worth, Florida. Check out some of his sculptures below and find more on his portfolio site.
