When I was working as a graphic designer on a freelance basis, Abduzeedo was one of my favorite sources of inspiration and not just that, it also encouraged me to start my own online publication a few years later. The blog was established in 2006 by Brazilian designer Fabio Sasso as a personal blog. Over the years, it evolved to a collective of several editors sharing articles about all forms of design and photography.
Mainly focusing on packaging design, Dieline is a creative platform that was founded in 2007 by Andrew Gibbs. Their aim is to share innovative design and outstanding creativity through original editorials, and reader-submitted projects.
8th: Cosas Visuales
This graphic design blog was founded by Fernando Suárez Carballo, a graphic designer and professor at the Faculty of Communication of the UPSA (Salamanca, Spain). With a selected range of only high-quality projects, it’s a great source of inspiration. The blog is written in Spanish and English.
7th: Creative Review
Due to the fact that most of the content is only available with a paid membership, I decided to push it down from the top spot where it was in our 2019 selection. Anyway, because of the high-quality content and the importance of this publication for so many years, Creative Review still finds itself on a solid 7th place.
6th: ID Identity Design
As the name suggests, it’s all about identity design. The blog provides us with a well-curated range of graphic design and branding projects made by talented designers and creative studios from around the globe.

3rd: It’s Nice That
Here comes once again one of the bigger online publications. It’s Nice That has been established already in 2007. By focusing on a mix of illustration, graphic design, and events, this is a great source of creative inspiration. They also produce a printed publication simply called Printed Pages.
For me, SwissMiss is one of the most authentic and sympathetic graphic design blogs for so many years. It was founded in 2005 by Swiss graphic designer Tina Roth Eisenberg as a personal visual archive. Today, SwissMiss is one of the world’s most popular design journals.

WE AND THE COLOR: graphic design and creative inspiration since 2010

The site specializes in a variety of creative disciplines such as design, art, photography, architecture, illustration, fashion, motion graphics and filmmaking.
