These LED-powered mushroom lamps allow you to bring a corner of a magical forest right to your desk. They’re lovingly handmade from glass and found wood by Yukio Takano. The mushrooms are actually based on real species and if not for the little red plastic on/off dial, I could easily be fooled into thinking they were the real-deal.
It’s near impossible to acquire one one of these sculptures since they’re only available at local design conventions in Japan. They’re too fragile to ship overseas. Sigh. View more of the these shroom lamps at his website.
