Like it or not, in these days, all modern interior design all look similar, no matter eastern or western. Sleek, clean, minimal all these become key factors of a modern room however, it also somehow loses traditional characters. That is the main reason I want to talk about this modern apartment located in Chengdu, China. At the first glance, you might think there is nothing special of this room compared with other modern homes. But when you put your eyes on the wall, you probably will start to get what I mean. There are two featured wall section in living room, one beside the dinning area and one integrate with entertaining area. Unlike its surrounded wall panel, these two sections are made of marble and its pattern somehow mimic the traditional Chinese ink painting, which brings the soul to the room.
The dark gold rhythm goes through the living room and dining room, just like a warm current, smoothing the edges in a reserved and orderly manner, and also bringing easeful emotions into the gray fabrics. Besides that, the comfortable window seat in master bedroom, turquoise-color children room and customized wall shelf in study room are all worth to mention in this interior design.
