Did you see Black Panther when it was in theaters? If not—and wish you would’ve—you’re in luck. Disney has announced that the Marvel flick will grace the big screen yet again as a way to celebrate Black History Month. From February 1 to 7, you can catch the Oscar-nominated film at one of the 250 participating AMC Theaters across the US. Best of all, the showings are free for everyone!
Disney’s free screenings coincide with their recent philanthropic efforts. They are giving a $1.5 million grant to support the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), an organization with the mission to “help minority students access and move to and through college.” It’s part of Disney’s long-standing commitment to bolster diverse communities and expand the pipeline of talented people.

“Black Panther is groundbreaking for many reasons, including the rich diversity of voices behind its success,” Bob Iger, the Chairman and CEO of Disney, said in a press release. “The story also showcases the power of knowledge to change the world for the better, and the importance of ensuring everyone has access to it. We’re proud to provide thousands of free screenings of Black Panther in hopes it will continue to inspire audiences.”
There will be two showings of Black Panther a day. To reserve your free tickets, visit this website. Once you have the passes, be sure to arrive at the theater early—seating is on a first come, first serve basis and showings might be overbooked.
