BnA_WALL: Newest Art Hotel in Tokyo, Japan

Located in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, BnA_WALL is the fourth, and newest, hotel created by the BnA team. As with all BnA hotels, each room at BnA_WALL is one-of-kind, meticulously crafted, and brought to life by some of the most creative artists in the area. BnA_WALL isn’t just a place to crash for the night; it’s an interactive art experience, a space for work, play, creation, and life. BnA_WALL is an alternative hotel decked out with a café, bar and lounge area, as well as it’s signature WALL.

Bna_WALL is a dynamic hotel that is always evolving. Once patrons enter BnA_WALL, their eyes will gravitate instantly to one of the hotel’s many attractions: WALL. WALL, it’s part of the hotel’s name – and it’s a big deal. But what the hell is it? WALL is a large, two-story open canvas wall created specifically for murals and muralists. WALL is a safe haven for muralists to express themselves and changes with each artist. Designed to be painted and repainted by new emerging artists, WALL creates an ever evolving scenery to be enjoyed by patrons. From the first floor lounge patrons can view local muralists create right in front of their eyes as they enjoy a coffee or cocktail. WALL stretches from the first floor lounge down into the basement Factory. Factory is an open space for artist workshops, product development, and art exhibitions. Factory is a space for creatives to congregate and exercise their creative muscles. WALL is not a work of art that is content with completion, rather it is a mural that evolves and moves with the will of the associated artist.

At BnA hotels you aren’t just staying in a hotel fitted with art pieces; every aspect of every room is designed by the artist to enhance the experience. The floor, walls, ceiling and open space, materials, color schemes, furniture, and the minute details are all carefully crafted. This project is the pursuit of a radically different form of hospitality that took nearly two years for the project’s completion. There are plenty of art hotels around the world, but no hotel is quite like a BnA hotel. When you stay at BnA_WALL, you are immersed in the world of each art room and the mind of each artist. Furthermore, with the BnA’s original Revenue Sharing System, when you stay in an art room you are directly supporting the room’s artist. By staying in an art piece you become a patron of art.
