Recently, a 36-year-old groomsman shared an incident that happened at his long time friend Sara’s wedding. “I’m on medication for anxiety and depression that has to be taken at a certain time of the day and also requires food, so I asked Sara what time the food would be served,” the author, who goes by the handle u/pizzaweddingthrow, shared some background information in the post on the AITA subreddit.
Turns out, this was a vegetarian wedding, which the author assured was no problem to him at all. “The only issue I had was when I found out the size of the meals,” he said and added that “The entire course consisted of a side salad, a side of corn, and a side of broccoli…” As you may suspect, this was far from enough for a groomsman of 6’2″, 185 lbs.

So he came up with a plan to “covertly” order some pizza, sneak out from the reception and grab a few slices… What he didn’t know was that he was far from the only guest at the wedding with a grumbling stomach.
