Starting with the Westwall, the forty-foot long creation of Markus Lüpertz, his largest works are being exhibited this May until September. This will be the first time that the artist will be showcased in the United States.
The aim is to explore his reactions to such a time as now, where our culture is facing some unique vibes all over. Aptly entitled Markus Lupertz: Threads of History, the showcase will run simultaneously with another exhibit featuring his work at The Phillips Collection, simply called Markus Lupertz.
Take this chance to view the artist’s major works from two presentations – a huge first for US fans of art!
