Chef plays with food and creates edible “shoe-shi” art in Milan

A Milan-based artist and chef have been proving the world that you can indeed play with your food in a very artistic and creative way.

Yujia Hu, also known as theonigiriart on Instagram, shapes his sushi into popular iconic shoes such as the NIKE Kyrie 2, Yeezy Zebras, Pharell’s Adidas line, and Jordan Air. His “shoe-shi” art is being sold both as photograph prints for $25 each and at his restaurant in Milan called Sakana.

Listen beautiful relax classics on our Youtube channel.

While it is true that you can shape a sushi into anything you can imagine, Hu’s attention to detail makes his sushi makes every bit more interesting. Apparently, it takes him hours to finish just one sushi. And just by looking at the photographs, anyone could instantly understand why.

You can drop by his sushi restaurant and feast on his incredibly artistic sushi if you ever find yourself in Milan. But for those who physically can’t, his works are available to purchase online.
