When it comes to recreating images in a fun and unexpected way, Lego blocks are always a choice medium. It’s only logical that David Whalen decided to use Lego to recreate iconic comic book covers. What first started as a way to test backdrop color lighting turned into a full-blown project that mixes nostalgia for vintage comics with the flexibility of Lego.
Iconic characters from DC Comics and Marvel like Batman, Superman, The Joker, X-Men, Spider-man, The Hulk and more fight it out, this time in their miniature Lego forms, within photographs taken with a Nikon D5200. Check out the adorable series below.
